Students from various educational institutes of Sindh, including colleges and universities, spent a day with the Pakistan Army at Malir Garrison.
The students visited the Martyrs' Memorial and offered prayers for the deceased. They observed various small and large weapons used by the Pakistan Army, including the Khalid tanks. The weapons used by the army sparked particular interest among the students.
Students paid tribute to the exemplary sacrifices of the Pakistan Army in defending the homeland and reaffirmed their commitment to stand by their armed forces. “Today, we were able to closely witness military combat capabilities many misconceptions were cleared, and we learned a lot," said a student.
Another said: “We are enjoying it a lot and feel a sense of pride in the courageous sacrifices our military makes to defend our country. This country and this army are ours, and we stand with our armed forces."
Yet another said: “The propaganda on social media has caused significant damage to our country I have come to the realization that the truth is actually quite different today. While at the Martyrs' Memorial, we placed flowers and honoured our martyrs, experiencing profound sadness that the sacrifices that led to the creation of Pakistan are being misrepresented by shameful propaganda on social platforms."
