Iran’s Supreme Leader Mujataba Khamenei issued a message to the nation on the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr, extending greetings and declaring the new Iranian year as one of courage and national unity.
He also praised the achievements of Iranian forces in what he described as a “third imposed war.”
In his address, Khamenei said that the enemy had attempted to spread fear and despair among the population but failed to achieve its objectives. He noted that the Iranian nation had successfully faced three major military and security challenges with resilience and dignity.
He further emphasized Iran’s desire to improve relations with neighboring countries, expressing confidence that unity among the people would grow stronger while adversaries would be disgraced. He accused Israel of using “false flag” tactics to create divisions between Iran and its neighboring states.
Khamenei also urged better relations between Pakistan and Afghanistan, offering Iran’s willingness to mediate between the two nations. Additionally, he denied any Iranian involvement in reported attacks on Turkiye and Oman, stating that neither Iranian forces nor allied groups were responsible.
