Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif held a telephone call with his Bangladeshi counterpart, Tarique Rahman, and exchanged Eid-ul-Fitr greetings.
According to details surfaced on Friday, the prime minister conveyed his best wishes to the government and people of Bangladesh and extended Eid greetings to the public.

The Bangladeshi premier expressed goodwill for the government and people of Pakistan. Both leaders discussed regional developments in South Asia and the situation in the Middle East.
They stressed the need to resolve tensions and disputes through dialogue and diplomacy. The two sides reaffirmed their resolve to further strengthen bilateral cooperation.
Moreover, they also expressed commitment to working together for regional and global peace and stability.
