Federal Minister for Communications Abdul Aleem Khan has extended Eidul Fitr greetings to the nation and offered special prayers for the supremacy of Islam.
In his message to the Muslim Ummah, the Istehkam-e-Pakistan Party (IPP) president had urged citizens to include the underprivileged in their celebrations and to remember those who sacrificed their lives for the country. He said the armed forces guarding the borders remain a source of national pride.
Aleem Khan said the success of Operation Ghazab Lil Haq against the Afghan Taliban regime marked a victory of truth, adding that the role of the prime minister and the Field Marshal at the international level remained commendable.
He said that, on the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr, Muslims must also remember their brothers and sisters affected by war, and prayed that Allah Almighty bestow His blessings upon the Ummah and accept the prayers of the holy month of fasting.
