Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian stated that Iran does not seek to acquire nuclear weapons.
In his Nowruz message, he said neighbouring countries are brothers, and Iran does not desire war with them. He added that the country’s difficulties are the result of foreign interference and that Iran has come to resolve all disputes with its neighbours.
Pezeshkian said that Iran has proposed the creation of a regional security structure comprising Islamic countries to establish peace and stability in the region, and that there is no need for the presence of external powers.
