Pakistan’s top military leadership, including Chief of Defence Forces Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, has extended warm greetings to the nation on the occasion of Pakistan Day, reaffirming their commitment to safeguarding the country’s future and security.
According to a statement issued by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), Chief of Defence Forces Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, Chief of the Naval Staff Admiral Naveed Ashraf, and Chief of the Air Staff Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Baber Sidhu conveyed their congratulations to the nation.
The statement emphasised that ensuring Pakistan’s security and stability remains the armed forces’ top priority. It added that the country is determined to strengthen its democratic institutions and uphold national security while ensuring the welfare and protection of its citizens.
The ISPR noted that Pakistan continues to face challenges such as terrorism and extremism, but highlighted that the armed forces, law enforcement agencies, and the public stand united against these threats.
It further stated that Pakistan’s armed forces remain vigilant and resolute, committed to maintaining internal security and combating terrorism effectively.
Reaffirming Pakistan’s global role, the statement described the country as a responsible and principled member of the international community, striving to promote peace, stability, and cooperation worldwide.
The message concluded with a note of unity and optimism, stating that as a nation, Pakistan will continue to move forward with hope, determination, and unwavering resolve.
