Zimbabwe’s hard-working opening batter Brian Bennett has been included in the Peshawar Zalmi squad for the forthcoming 11th edition of the Pakistan Super League.
According to details, Peshawar Zalmi owner Javed Afridi made the announcement, welcoming the player to the side. “We welcome Brian John Bennett from Zimbabwe to the Zalmi family,” he said.
Bennett delivered an impressive performance for Zimbabwe in the recently held Men’s T20 World Cup 2026, helping his side secure a place in the Super 8 stage of the tournament.
The right-hander scored 292 runs in six matches, with a highest score of 97 against India. He also played a vital role in a successful run chase against Sri Lanka during the group stage.
Javed Afridi welcomed Brian Bennett for the PSL, where the Zimbabwean cricketer is set to make his first appearance in the league.
