Punjab Education Minister Rana Sikandar Hayat announced in a message on social media that academic activities in the province would resume from April 1.
Taking to X (formerly Twitter), Hayat said the current holidays would end on March 31. “From April 1, the academic process will resume from where it was interrupted,” the minister said. He added that the focus would now be on minimising learning losses.
It is pertinent to note that the holidays in educational institutions across Punjab were announced until 31 March in view of an energy crisis arising from tensions involving Iran, Israel and the United States.
