Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has said that the tears shed in Iran are no different from those of Muslims across the region, adding that the attacks on Iran have plunged the area into a grave crisis.
He said the war initiated against Iran has cast the region into bloodshed, noting that the Middle East is passing through one of the most difficult periods of the century. He described the conflict as Israel’s war, the cost of which is being borne by all humanity, and said Turkiye would not leave its brotherly countries alone in a time of trial.
President Erdogan also warned that the conflict is pushing the Middle East further towards instability, while accusing Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu of widening the scope of the confrontation across the region.
