Quetta Gladiators opener Shamyl Hussain said on Friday that the performance only carries weight when the teams win the games.
Expressing his thoughts, he said he will aim to deliver a better performance in the next match. Hussain said T20 cricket has changed and he seeks to play attacking cricket within the circle, adding that a Quetta Gladiators batter said the side could have played better in the middle overs.
Shamyl Hussain said wearing Pakistan’s jersey in international cricket brings pride along with pressure, adding that the presence of a crowd would have added to the occasion.
He said he watches Salman Agha, Mohammad Rizwan and Rilee Rossouw and learns from them.
Shamyl Hussain said his selection and omission are not determined by public opinion.
