Shehzad’s legal team is expected to respond within a day or two.
Sources say Misbah-ul-Haq considers Shehzad’s claims to be false and damaging to his reputation. The notice reportedly asks for a public retraction and clarification of the statements made.
Ahmed Shehzad allegedly accused Misbah of failing to ensure payment of salary to cricketer Hasibullah, a claim sources indicate is under legal review. Consultations between the two parties’ legal teams are ongoing.
