Former Pakistan red-ball coach and current Hyderabad Kingsmen head coach Jason Gillespie said on Saturday he holds no issue with the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), terming his previous Test coaching stint as a matter of the past.
Speaking to the media, Gillespie said it remains a challenge for every player to compete across all formats of the game. He said that the side has played only one match so far but remains determined ahead of the forthcoming fixtures.
The head coach expressed hope that Glenn Maxwell would soon join the Pakistan Super League (PSL). He also termed Saim Ayub as a fine player and said he awaits strong performances from him.
Gillespie said there is an expectation that Maaz Sadaqat will feature in the match against Quetta Gladiators.
He added that the bowlers often favour shorter formats in order to prolong their careers, while fast bowlers, in particular, now find it difficult to play across all three formats of the game.
