Pakistan has witnessed a significant increase in the number of mobile phone subscribers, with nearly 2.2 million new subscribers added in just one month.
According to the latest data, the telecom sector in the country continues to grow rapidly, especially in the use of 4G services.
The total number of cellular subscribers in Pakistan reached 204.771 million by the end of February 2026. This number was 202.575 million at the end of January 2026, indicating that about 2.2 million new subscribers were added in just one month.
Significant growth in 4G subscribers
The demand for 4G services in the country is continuously increasing, which can be estimated from data from various companies. Jazz's 4G subscribers increased from 55.979 million to 56.713 million; Zong's 4G subscribers also increased from 43.065 million to 43.667 million.

Telenor's 4G subscribers increased to 29.599 million, while Ufone's 4G subscribers reached 25.88 million. This increase reflects the growing demand for high-speed internet across the country.
3G subscriber status
Although the trend of 4G is growing, 3G subscribers are still there. Zong's 3G subscribers are 1.621 million, while Telenor's 3G subscribers are 632 thousand. Similarly, Ufone's 3G subscribers increased to 1.112 million.
Data shows that digital connectivity is growing rapidly in Pakistan, where users are migrating to modern 4G services in large numbers.
