Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has once again strongly condemned the attacks on Kuwait and expressed complete solidarity and support with the people of Kuwait during difficult circumstances.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif received a telephone call from Kuwait Crown Prince Sheikh Sabah Al Khaled Al Hamad Al Mubarak Al Sabah. During the call, both leaders discussed the regional situation and matters of mutual interest. The Prime Minister reiterated his condemnation of the attacks on Kuwait and assured full solidarity. He conveyed heartfelt condolences over the loss of precious lives and offered prayers for the early recovery of the injured.
Shehbaz Sharif also apprised the Kuwaiti leadership of Pakistan’s sincere diplomatic efforts aimed at ending conflict in the Middle East.
The Kuwaiti crown prince praised the leadership of the Prime Minister and expressed full support for Pakistan’s efforts to mediate between Iran and the United States.
Sheikh Sabah Al Khaled Al Hamad Al Mubarak Al Sabah conveyed gratitude for the prime minister’s recent letter expressing solidarity with the Kuwaiti leadership and expressed the desire to visit Pakistan once conditions improve.
The prime minister thanked the crown prince and assured that Pakistan would continue to play a constructive role in promoting peace and stability in the region.
