Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian has issued a message to countries in the region, saying that if they seek development and security, they must not allow their soil to be used for war by Iran’s adversaries.
In a message posted on X, the Iranian president said Tehran had repeatedly stated it does not carry out pre-emptive strikes. However, he warned that any attack on its infrastructure or economic centres would draw a full response.
It is recalled that a day earlier, the United States and Israel targeted several key Iranian installations, including Mobarakeh Steel Industries in Isfahan and Khuzestan, the Ardakan yellowcake production plant, and the heavy water facility in Khondab, in Markazi province.
Meanwhile, Iran carried out strikes on Kuwait International Airport and Prince Sultan Air Base in Saudi Arabia, with reports indicating that several people were injured.
