Actress Aina Asif went viral on Instagram after her appearance on the Chand Raat special hosted by Imran Ashraf, where she discussed her experiences with senior actors in the industry.
Known for taking on emotionally heavy and challenging roles from a young age, Asif gained acclaim for dramas such as Mayi Ri, which addresses child marriage, and Judwaa, where she played a dual role.
On the show, she revealed that some senior actors would make her feel uncomfortable on set, often giving her strange looks or disrupting serious scenes. She said that during intense crying or screaming sequences, actors would interrupt her lines, engage in side conversations, or start joking around with the director.
Asif also noted that some actors would mimic her movements and even pretend to forget their lines just as she was about to speak. She reflected on her initial frustration but added that she has learned to let it go and no longer feels stressed.
Host Imran Ashraf praised her talent, calling her one of Pakistan’s leading actresses. “Hum toh isko choti si bachi samaj rahe the,” he said, noting her remarkable growth and success in the industry.
