The Pakistan Football Federation (PFF) has announced that the upcoming match between Pakistan and Myanmar will be held without spectators, citing the government’s austerity policy.
In a statement, the PFF said the AFC Asian Cup qualifier against Myanmar, scheduled to take place in Islamabad on March 31, will be conducted under a closed-door policy.
The PFF said it appreciated the interest of supporters, adding that, under the government's policy, gatherings of more than 200 people are restricted.
The decision has been taken in line with measures aimed at austerity and fuel conservation.
Moreover, the PFF added that all ticket holders will receive refunds through their original method of payment automatically.
