Senior UK and Pakistani officials met in Islamabad on March 26-27 for the 8th UK-Pakistan Regional Stability Conference, focusing on regional security, counter-terrorism, and enhancing bilateral cooperation.
Major General Tom Bateman and UK Special Envoy to Afghanistan Richard Lindsay led the UK delegation, meeting Pakistani counterparts for two days of strategic discussions. The conference brought together regional security experts to exchange views on current threats and partnership opportunities.
Delegates emphasized the importance of collaboration in addressing security challenges, including terrorism and cross-border threats. Discussions highlighted how joint initiatives can strengthen intelligence sharing, crisis response, and broader regional stability.
