Karachi Kings pulled off a dramatic four-wicket victory over Lahore Qalandars in a nail-biting Pakistan Super League (PSL) 11 clash in Lahore.
Chasing a modest target of 129, Karachi Kings reached 130 for six in 19.3 overs, sealing the win in the final over after a tense finish. Mohammad Wasim led the charge with 38 runs, while Saad Baig added 19 and Moeen Ali contributed 18.
A turning point in the match came when Lahore Qalandars were penalized for ball tampering. On-field umpires awarded Karachi Kings five penalty runs and replaced the ball, significantly easing the chase at a crucial stage. With 14 runs needed off the final over, the additional runs proved decisive.
Earlier, Lahore Qalandars posted 128 for nine in their 20 overs. Abdullah Shafique top-scored with 33, while Haseebullah Khan made 28. Contributions from Sikandar Raza (19) and Mohammad Naeem (13) helped push the total, while Fakhar Zaman was dismissed for just one run.
The closely fought contest kept fans on the edge of their seats, with Karachi Kings holding their nerve to secure an important win in the tournament.
