Hyderabad Kingsmen all-rounder Saim Ayub has backed Marnus Labuschagne as the franchise captain despite his T20 status.
In an exclusive interview with Samaa TV, Ayub said the management had entrusted the Kingsmen’s captaincy to the individual they deemed most suitable.
He said there was complete harmony among the players and management within the Hyderabad Kingsmen camp.
Ayub said Labuschagne’s T20 status did not matter, adding that the decision on leadership rested with the management.
He expressed determination to deliver a strong performance in the Pakistan Super League and voiced hope that Hyderabad would secure the title.
