A bomb exploded near the residence of Mumtaz Ali in the Matta Shakardara area of Swat, officials confirmed.
According to Swat DPO Muhammad Umar, the blast created a crater on the road, but no casualties were reported. Investigations into the incident are ongoing.
Police sources noted that Mumtaz Ali had previously survived a remote-controlled bomb attack in which his vehicle was destroyed.
ANP leader Mian Iftikhar Hussain condemned the blast near Mumtaz Ali Khan’s residence, calling it a “cowardly and regrettable act.” He added that such low tactics cannot intimidate party workers or leadership.
