A serial record-breaker, who calls himself “Mr. World Record,” has set a new Guinness World Record for the fastest asphalt skating, reaching a speed of 69 miles per hour.
Jonny Cruz Buckingham achieved the feat by being tied to a vehicle and towed across a parking lot at high speed.
Speaking to Guinness World Records, Buckingham said his motivation was to inspire his son to dream big and reach for the stars.
This latest accomplishment adds to Buckingham’s impressive list of records, which includes traveling across all seven continents in the shortest time, among more than a dozen other Guinness World Records he holds.
