Pakistan Peoples Party chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari met with Maulana Fazlur Rehman at his residence in Islamabad for consultations on the country’s political and parliamentary matters.
According to sources, the meeting also included discussions on the proposed 28th Constitutional Amendment and other matters of mutual interest. Regional issues, including the situation in the Middle East, were reportedly part of the talks.
PPP leaders Raja Pervez Ashraf, Naeem Hussain Bukhari, and Chaudhry Yaseen, along with JUI-F leaders Kamran Murtaza and Asad Mehmood, participated in the meeting.
Sources indicate that Bilawal Bhutto Zardari briefed Maulana Fazlur Rehman on recent consultations, while Senator Kamran Murtaza noted that the talks covered areas of shared interest and potential collaboration.
