Pindiz batter Yasir Khan is seeking a place in the Pakistan national side on the strength of strong performances in the forthcoming 11th edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL).
Speaking to the media, Yasir Khan said he aimed to deliver a solid showing in the PSL in order to earn national selection. He said Mohammad Rizwan was part of the side and noted that the coaching staff also included seasoned figures.

Yasir added that he had been performing not only in the PSL but also in domestic cricket. He remarked that effort remained within their control, while selection did not.
It is pertinent to note that Yasir has represented three PSL franchises so far, with Pindiz set to be his fourth in the domestic marquee tournament. Pindiz are due to make their first appearance in PSL history against the 2017 champions, Peshawar Zalmi on Saturday.
