During the call, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif conveyed heartfelt Eid ul Fitr greetings to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the Crown Prince, and the brotherly people of Saudi Arabia.
His Royal Highness the Crown Prince graciously reciprocated these sentiments, sharing warm wishes for the festive occasion.
Condemning Attacks and Reaffirming Solidarity
PM Shehbaz reiterated Pakistan’s strong condemnation of recent attacks on Saudi Arabia, expressing complete solidarity and unequivocal support for the Kingdom and its people in these challenging times.

While appreciating the Saudi leadership for demonstrating remarkable restraint during the crisis, Prime Minister Sharif assured the Crown Prince that Pakistan would always stand by Saudi Arabia and its people, just as the Kingdom has historically supported Pakistan.

Call for peace, unity, and regional stability
The prime minister emphasized the urgent need to end hostilities and restore normalcy, highlighting the importance of unity and harmony within the Muslim Ummah.
He briefed the Crown Prince on Pakistan’s constructive diplomatic outreach to all parties, urging de-escalation and resolution of differences through dialogue and diplomacy. The Saudi Crown Prince deeply appreciated these peace initiatives, and both leaders agreed to maintain close coordination at all levels to strengthen security and stability in the region.
Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman also spoke with British Prime Minister Keir Starmer, reviewing the ongoing military tensions and their impact on global economy and international navigation.
Prime Minister Starmer strongly condemned the Iranian attacks on Saudi soil, calling them a serious threat to regional security and stability.
Pakistan ready to host peace talks
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif had previously stated on X that Pakistan is fully prepared to host peace talks with the consent of Iran and the United States.
